What Is The Kingdom Of God And When Will The Kingdom Happen Or Be Put In Place?
The kingdom of God or kingdom of Heaven is not a place. The kingdom is just that; a kingdom. The kingdom that was established by Jesus is the Kingdom of God and as far as we are concerned it is a kingdom that is established on the earth. God rules the whole universe, but I would like to focus on how this affects us now, here on the earth.
Dominion of the earth was given to man, by God, as seen in the first chapter of Genesis. God established a man (Jesus) who would have the right to take the dominion of the earth and establish it for God. The first man (Adam) did not stay submitted to God, nor have any of his offspring. It has always been God’s plan that man would rule the earth, under Him. Jesus established the kingdom while he was on the earth and the authority of his kingdom has been growing ever since (Is 9:6-7, Dan 2:34, 35, 44.) This kingdom has principles by which it operates and we need to understand them.
The kingdom has been growing and eventually it will be established to the point that all rule on the earth will be under this one kingdom. Once Jesus has fully established this kingdom and reigns on the earth he will hand it over to God (1 Cor 15:24, Rev 12:10.) (It is not my purpose to talk about Jesus’ deity on the website.)
In this site I will discuss the Kingdom; timing of events, qualifications to be part of it, how we can enter it, how to live and benefit from it now, the power and authority available, and the eventual takeover by God and His Christ.
This site is primarily for the person who is already a part of this kingdom, but may not fully understand all that is available to them. Jesus made it clear that those outside of the kingdom would not understand the mysteries of the kingdom, but wanted those on the inside to understand.
Mark 4:11-13 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, 12 so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.’”
If you are outside of the kingdom and want to understand it, as well as have eternal life; it starts with a decision to “turn” to God. Another word used is to “repent.” I do not believe it is important to have a full understanding or is it possible to have a full understanding of how all of this works, at the beginning. Each person must turn to God and decide to do things His way, turning away from doing things his own way. God has provided a way for your sins to be removed so you can enter into His kingdom by what was accomplished by Jesus’ death and resurrection. He has promised to open up your understanding if you would “turn.” If you have not done this, please make this decision now and the rest of this website will be of benefit to you.
